This Castels site has been transformed from a run down chateau. The old watermill is now the bar and the coach house and stables are now the golf club. The fabulous pool complex includes three pools and a superb water park with chutes beside the tree-lined fishing lake, and a new covered lagoon-style pool with wave pool. Our generous, grassy emplacements are scattered throughout the campsite and our Fairytale Cottages are set in a secluded woodland setting - ideal if you are looking for something a little different. La Plage is a most pretty park, with direct accessto the beach. It is neatly divided by trees and hedges and set amidst the well-kept gardens of an old Breton farmhouse. The huge Californian pool complex is great fun for all the family and includes a children's pool with water games, and a covered heated pool, toboggans, solarium and jacuzzi. Throughout the season there are aqua aerobics, water polo and water volleyball tournament and in July and August swimming lessons, fun waterskiing and even deep-sea diving instruction. The park has a restaurant, bar, supermarket, fitness room, tennis court, boules pitch, archery and mountain biking. There is also free evening entertainment and themed restaurant nights. Due to the undulating nature of the terrain on this park and the placement of some of the pitches on quite steep terraces, this park is not ideal for those with mobility problems.

You can get a refreshing drink at the lakeside bar, or perhaps on the terrace next to the swimming pool complex where lots of evening entertainment is on offer. Children will love the watermark with its four-lane waterslide and the newly built indoor pool complex. There is also a recently built outdoor wave pool, great fun for all the family to enjoy. Pedalos can be hired on the campsite lake. There is a cosy pub with lakeside terrace and restaurant, plus all-weather football pitch and an activity programme all season. Dol-de-Bretagne is 8km away.

Perhaps the most notable things about this excellent modern park are its large, spacious pitches, some of which are surrounded by hedges to offer privacy. The pool complex features both a water chute and a four lane waterslide, with a new covered pool planned for 2010. If you're feeling more energetic, you can try a game of tennis, volleyball or even basketball, and in high summer the park owners organise evening entertainment in the bar, which overlooks the newly extended pool. Beyond the park, a short stroll along a shady track brings you to a safe, sandy beach and should you feel the urge to explore further, the coastline has many sandy inlets and tiny harbours to discover. You could also make the short drive to the village of Nevez, with its small selection of shops and bars.
