La Chapelle at Argeles Plage, Languedoc
Situated just 50m from the bustling resort of Argeles, La Chapelle is only 200m from a long sandy beach. The pitches on the park are large and grassy and are situated to the rear of the site with mature trees providing some shade on the majority of pitches. The pool complex is a great place to meet other holidaymakers or simply top up your tan and relax with a good book. For changes of scene why not visit Perpignan, the nearest city to the park, or if you want to travel a little further, Barcelona is also within reach for a day trip.
Domaine de Drancourt at St Valery, Picardy
Domaine de Drancourt is a rural campsite, surrounded by extensive wooded countryside and fields. A long, tree-lined avenue leads you to the picturesque chateau, whose grounds provide an ideal setting for your holiday. The old stables have been carefully converted to house many of the excellent on-site facilities, including the popular French bistro style restaurant. Children will enjoy splashing around in the two pools, one of which is covered, or exploring the site pathways on a hired go-kart. For adults, the relaxing sun terrace at the pool is perfect for sunbathing while tennis and a golf pitch-and-putt are also available. In the evening relax with a drink and listen to the music in the château's friendly and cosy lounge bar.

Parc de Fierbois at Tours, Loire Valley

Domaine de la Rive at Biscarosse, Gascony
La Rive is nestled amongst acres of the famous Landaise Forests on the shores of the Biscarosse Lake, four miles from the small town of Biscarosse. Apart from boasting one of the best lakeside beaches in the South West and being awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, the owner has created a superb water park that includes 4 slides, children's pool, covered pool, and Jacuzzi. Facilities are available for mooring customers' own boats. The whole family will enjoy the range of facilities from playgrounds and archery to the covered pool complex with waterslides, jacuzzi and toddler pools. The delightful bar and restaurant overlook a well equipped and spacious play area and the quaint town of Biscarosse with its bars, shops and nightlife only a short drive away. If you're bringing a boat, the small port will moor it for a small fee for the duration of your stay.
La Garangeoire at St Julien des Landes, Vendee
La Garangeoire is without a doubt one of the most prestigious members of the Castels chain. Domaine de Massereau at Sommieres, Languedoc
Part of the prestigious Castels chain, the park owners have created a unique theme, based around the stunning wine producing chateau. Guests are able to take guided tours around the chateau and vineyard and purchase a wide variety of wine that the estate produces every year. The pitches are located amongst tranquil and picturesque oak trees and the facilities including a heated swimming pool and park restaurant, will appeal to families with young children. There is also an indoor spa, jacuzzi and sauna, and in May, June and September, you will get a free 45 minute session when you spend more than 3 nights on park (small charge otherwise). Off park try trekking at the Camargue National Park or take a ride along the 25 miles of purpose built cycle track which runs from Sommieres through the park itself.
Hippocampe at Argeles-sur-Mer, Languedoc
If you are looking for a fun packed holiday then Camping Hippocampe has all the right ingredients. At Argeles-sur-Mer, which is just a mile away, you have a long sandy beach. The park has a superb heated swimming pool with waterchute and waterslides, you also have access to the wide range of sports facilities, children's clubs and evening entertainment at La Sirene, its larger sister site across the road.
Chateau de Drancourt at St Valery, Picardy
Ideally placed for the Channel ports, this 'Castels' park enjoys a picturesque location in the gardens of Chateau de Drancourt, with many facilities that make it ideal for a great family holiday. Children will love the play areas and the three pools, one of which is covered, while the golf range is popular with absolutely everyone. There are also some beautifully converted stables, which provide a focal point for many other activities. The owners have created a great family atmosphere too, which you can sample at the cosy restaurant, in the bar of the main Chateau, or at the lively karaoke nights held in high summer. The local area offers a wealth of day trips too, with the medieval port of St. Valery just a few kilometres away.
Le Clarys Plage at St Jean Plage, Vendee
The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.
Holiday Marina at Port Grimaud, Cote d'Azur
Holiday Marina is a small, modern campsite just 900m from the beach and set on the banks of the River Giscle. The campsite is set in a wonderful location within walking distance of picturesque Port Grimaud. The site has a spacious swimming pool with a separate pool for children, plus a jacuzzi. There is also a fantastic bar terrace which overlooks the pool and marina. Children will love the large play area while teenagers will never get bored with the sporting activities including football, basketball and archery. In the evening relax in the restaurant and sample some regional specialities or enjoy the entertainment in the lively bar.

Aloha Village is the ideal place for families who want to fill every moment of the day, and evening too. It offers two bars, a pizzeria, restaurant and ice-cream parlour, not to mention the large pool for swimmers as well as a fun pool complete with waterslide. There's also tennis, a gym and a multi-sport area for football, volleyball and basketball. 500m away there are stables for horse riding and pony trekking. During the day, there is a busy kids club, while most evenings are filled with lively entertainment for all. Yet despite all this, it's also a wonderful place to simply relax.
Yello Village Cote de Nacre at St Aubin-sur-Mer, Normandy
Within 1/2 a mile of a sandy beach Cote de Nacre is a site with plenty to do including a tropical pool complex with swimming pool, water slides and chutes. There is a covered pool which is heated and a childrens splash pool. For those looking to relax there is a sauna and Hammam, There is a playground for smaller children and organised activities for children aged 7-10 years from mid July to August. For older children there is table tennis and table football as well as outdoor fun including a synthetic outdoor ice rink, multi sport pitch for football, basketball, volleyball and tennis. There is a bar, restaurant, takeaway on site. There is evening entertainment from mid July to August including weekly disco, live music, quizzes and karaoke.
La Ravoire at Annecy Doussard, Alps
La Ravoire is a park with genuine charm and excellent facilities. The pool complex offers all the family somewhere to swim as well as a great water slide; however it is the mountains and the azure waters of the lake surrounding Annecy that make it so special. La Ravoire is close to the southern tip of the lake and there are beaches just a short drive away for swimming and water sports.
Camping Atlantique Parc at La Palmyre, Royan
Situated in 42 acres of natural landscaped grounds, this parc is ideal for a fun family holiday. With swimming pools, mini farm and playground, there is plenty to keep the young ones entertained. The pool especially is a real winner, with its natural beach surrounding the pool?s lagoon-shaped contours.?And for the water enthusiasts, the beach nearby offers a wide variety of watersports. You can also hire bikes and explore the local area, with its colourful markets, shops and the kids will love spending time at La Palmyre Zoo. There is also a little train that stops outside the parc, which will take you to the centre of La Palmyre, the lovely sandy beach and to other local attractions. Due to its location, some road noise can be heard.
Yelloh Village le Littoral at Les Sables-d'Olonne, Vendee
The campsite is situated next to a grassy headland with rock pools and coastal paths to explore. The facilities on site are superb and include a fantastic pool complex, which offers an outdoor pool with a large sun terrace, waterslides and jacuzzi, as well as a heated indoor pool. In high season families can enjoy a good programme of lively entertainment in the campsite bar or take one of the excursions to local attractions, such as the picturesque port of Pornic and the island nature reserve of Ile de Re. Please note that some noise from a nearby road may be heard from some of the pitches.
Camping les Granges at Grolejac, Dordogne
The oak beamed bar and excellent restaurant at Camping les Granges is housed in old ivy clad buildings; in total contrast to the superb modern pool complex with its swimming pools and three water chutes. The bar terrace, overlooking the pool, is an ideal spot for listening to live music in high season and for sipping one of the delicious cocktails on offer. The active can hire a bicycle or put on their boots to explore the many walking and cycling routes.
Yelloh Village la Petite Camargue at Aigues-Mortes, Languedoc
While the site is quiet in low season, this is a lively site in July and August that makes a great location for a family holiday. There are excellent facilities for the whole family here, including a large swimming pool (complete with shallow area for toddlers), plus a range of activities, including horse riding, bike hire and tennis. The pitches are partially shaded by tall trees, relax here with a good book, or enjoy a cooling drink at the bar terrace which overlooks the pool. As evening falls, enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant before watching the organised entertainment. Teenagers especially will enjoy the nightly disco.
