Scuba diving lessons are available in the pool, windsurfing, tennis, mini golf and even a free bus service to the beach. Families are more than catered for at Les Sablons, there is something for everyone. The amazing swimming pool complex has 2 outdoor pools; waterslides galore; children's splash pool and a jacuzzi. If they are not into swimming then the 3 playgrounds; tennis; table tennis or archery may be for them. If all that fails to impress there is a site run children's club for 5-10 years during July and August. If you prefer to leave the park the sandy beach is only 200 metres with pedalos and water sports available. Shops and cafes in Portiragnes Plage are a short walk from the park. Le Mane Guernehue is a family-run site, one and a half miles from Baden and near to the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan. Excellent facilities, although at the top of a fairly steep hill, include a swimming pool with waterslides,jacuzzi, sauna, bar and restaurant. The family will enjoy relaxing at the south facing beaches or exploring the rock pools and coves just four miles away at ÃŽle aux Moines. During July and August the campsite staff organise daytime and evening entertainment for the whole family.

Part of the prestigious Castels chain, the park owners have created a unique theme, based around the stunning wine producing chateau. Guests are able to take guided tours around the chateau and vineyard and purchase a wide variety of wine that the estate produces every year. The pitches are located amongst tranquil and picturesque oak trees and the facilities including a heated swimming pool and park restaurant, will appeal to families with young children. There is also an indoor spa, jacuzzi and sauna, and in May, June and September, you will get a free 45 minute session when you spend more than 3 nights on park (small charge otherwise). Off park try trekking at the Camargue National Park or take a ride along the 25 miles of purpose built cycle track which runs from Sommieres through the park itself.

L'Atlantique is just 3km from the small seaside resort of Beg-Meil, with a beautiful setting next to a nature reserve. The beach is only a delightful ten minute walk from the site across a stream and through a nature reserve with all kinds of wildlife. Beyond the park, a short stroll along a shady track brings you to a safe, sandy beach and should you feel the urge to explore further, the coastline has many sandy inlets and tiny harbours to discover.
