There is plent of countryisde for you to explore on this 9 acre site of lush woodland and private lake with a supervised sandy beach. The holiday park has a great pool complex with a new twisting water slide to the larger swimming pool and paddling pool. Le Val de Durance is a friendly park with childrens facilities such as a games room and playground with other useful amenities including a small shop and snack bar/ takeaway. For those looking for an active holiday, beyond the park there is lots of great cycling and hiking routes in the Natural Park.

Off site there are plenty of things to keep you occupied with bike hire around the corner; Atlantic Toboggan water park a short drive away to the picturesque town of St Giles Croix De Vie; the wonderful promenade at St Jean de Monts with a fantastic long beach, cafes, bars and shops all within a short drive. A little further away you will find the zoo at Sables which is worth a visit.

Based in the north west of Paris, Camping International is close to a local train station, just a twenty minute journey to the city centre and a direct journey to Disneyland Resort Paris. What's more Versailles is only 20 minutes away by car. This site is all about its location and as a result the facilities are quite basic but do include a shop and bar. The local town of Maisons Laffitte is walking distance and there you will find some good restaurants, a supermarket and local shops. Barges and trains can be heard on-site.

The park offers many amenities, including a restaurant, bar and pizzeria housed in the medieval farm buildings at the bottom of the park. Yet the real beauty of Cantobre is the breadth of outdoor activities on offer. This is also a Walking and Wildlife park.

Situated in the very heart of Catalan country, Les Tropiques is a typically Mediterranean enclave, sheltered between the Pyrenees and the sea and the famous beachside town of Canet. The park itself is only 400m from a golden sandy beach and the friendly owners will welcome you to the well kept park and excellent facilities. This park is ideal for families with younger children, whilst in high summer teenagers will appreciate the lively on park disco and bar with its superb entertainment. This gem of a park is tucked away from all the main attractions, but only a short car journey away you will find Perpignan for some excellent shopping; or walks in the Pyrenees which overlook the small resort of Torreilles where the park is situated.
Les Mouettes at Carantec, Brittany

Les Mouettes is situated near one of the most beautiful bays on the Breton coast. Carantec has a feeling of peace and spaciousness that makes it a popular choice with families. Mature trees and shrubs enhance the park area where most of the pitches are grassy and some are partly shaded but, there are also some large, sunny pitches. One of the main attractions is the impressive swimming pool complex overlooked by the bar terrace, where the children will enjoy floating along the lazy river surrounding the huge water chutes. They can also try their hand at the unusual 18-hole crazy-golf course, not forgetting the beach is just 1.5km away. The picturesque old port of Roscoff is near by and offers boat trips to the island of Batz.

Sheltered in the calmer waters of the St Jean de Luz bay, the water sports and activities here are a degree or two more chilled out than at the larger resorts to the north. Ciboure offers all the exhilaration for those who like to take the air, or even take to the waters, in relative peace and tranquillity. On land the accent is on quiet enjoyment, Ciboure is calm compared to its busy fishing port neighbour of Saint Jean-de-Luz, but there is still plenty to keep you busy. You're not too far from the Spanish border, with the beautiful Pyrenees rising in the south.

It has three pools in an excellent complex which is the park's centrepiece and the facilities here are good all round, with tennis as well as a children's play area. There is also a charming and reasonably priced restaurant which is so good it's even enjoyed by the locals, despite the presence of many first rate alternatives nearby. Pitches here are on a series of terraces, some with views over the idyllic countryside that surrounds the park and the rural setting also offers many delightful walks amongst the patchwork woods and fields.

The park is close to the lively resorts of St Hilaire and St Jean de Monts.

Lac de Chalain has a superb family atmosphere with a good range of facilities including a superb pool complex with sunbathing area and a flower decked bar and restaurant terrace. In high season the site becomes very lively, with plenty of organised entertainment. There's also a lakeside beach where you can swim, canoe and windsurf. The area is great for walkers, with rolling countryside and cascading waterfalls just waiting to be discovered. The Jura is a wonderful region for exploring; the Herisson Waterfalls make for a spectacular day out, while the French Alps are also close by.

Here, you're just 300m from a lovely sandy beach where you can hire surfboards and take advantage of the huge Atlantic rollers. You're also just a ten minute drive away from France's largest fresh water lake where more water sports are available, and slightly further afield are famous vineyards including Pessac and Medoc - perfect for wine lovers. On parc the superb facilities include bicycle hire, horse riding and a new waterpark?opened in 2013. There's also organised entertainment, plus popular bar, restaurant and take-away, while just a few minutes away?at Hourtin Plage there are plenty more bars and restaurants to sample.
Saint Avit Loisirs at Le Bugue, Dordogne

The buildings are of beautiful honey-coloured stone where you'll find a shop, bar with a large terrace overlooking the pool and a restaurant serving local specialities. The modern facilities include a swimming pool complex, tropical-style indoor pool, crazy river and jacuzzi. The sports facilities are outstanding including recently built golf driving range and putting green, plus quad biking, tennis, football and gym amongst others. Six kilometres away is the busy town of Le Bugue.

You can relax at the bar and eat in the excellent restaurant in the evenings. Cala Gogo is just 1.5 kilometres from St Cyprien and 26 kilometres south of Perpignan.

Or if you want to explore authentic Europe then the medieval town of Beynac, with its inviting bakeries and authentic restaurants along the narrow streets, is only a short stroll away. The atmosphere at Le Capeyrou is civilised and tranquil; the setting of the large spacious pitches, surrounded by hedgerows, is picturesque and relaxing. But there is lots of fun to be had to. You can fire some darts or have a game of snooker in the site?s friendly bar or take a canoe or boat trip out on the river.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

The pool especially is a real winner, with its natural beach surrounding the pool?s lagoon-shaped contours.?And for the water enthusiasts, the beach nearby offers a wide variety of watersports. You can also hire bikes and explore the local area, with its colourful markets, shops and the kids will love spending time at La Palmyre Zoo. There is also a little train that stops outside the parc, which will take you to the centre of La Palmyre, the lovely sandy beach and to other local attractions. Due to its location, some road noise can be heard.

The island is a haven for cyclists ? so why not hire bikes on site and explore the island's many cycle paths.

This spectacular park that is ideally situated on the banks of a natural lake and it is surrounded by the wooded foothills of the Jura. Park residents are entitled to free access to the pool according to a credit system for entry, please ask at time of booking. The adjoining lakeside beach is a great place to soak up the sun, but you can also fish, swim, or hire a pedalo or canoe. There are also many beautiful walks and gorgeous wine villages to be explored and the many attractions of Switzerland are within easy reach.
