The bar terrace, overlooking the pool, is an ideal spot for listening to live music in high season and for sipping one of the delicious cocktails on offer. The active can hire a bicycle or put on their boots to explore the many walking and cycling routes.

The campsite is situated next to a grassy headland with rock pools and coastal paths to explore. The facilities on site are superb and include a fantastic pool complex, which offers an outdoor pool with a large sun terrace, waterslides and jacuzzi, as well as a heated indoor pool. In high season families can enjoy a good programme of lively entertainment in the campsite bar or take one of the excursions to local attractions, such as the picturesque port of Pornic and the island nature reserve of Ile de Re. Please note that some noise from a nearby road may be heard from some of the pitches.

You'd think that the magnificent pool complex with its four lane waterslide would be the unrivalled centrepiece of this lively park. However, in addition there is a completely separate and beautifully designed lagoon pool with its own slides. And there is also a covered pool on two levels, with slides, jacuzzi and steam room. The park's first class facilities also include two bars, restaurant and tennis courts, play area, take-away and fitness room. There are also plenty of lovely beaches nearby and come the evening you can choose between live entertainment or dancing the night away in the park's own disco. Please note that road noise can sometimes be heard on site.

It has a magical setting on a quiet wooded peninsula, beside a sweeping sandy beach backed by dunes and calm shallow waters, ideal for younger children. The park offers a wide range of organised children's activities, sports tournaments, bicycle tours and walks. It also features a lovely pool with some shade and a great waterslide. There is also an excellent bar, restaurant, and creperie, from which you can watch the children playing on the beach, or look out further to the bright sails of the windsurfers beyond. See it just once and you'll understand why Brittany's soft, sandy beaches are such a popular destination for families.

Camping le Chatelet is a gem, set amidst rolling heath land with breathtaking sea views. Some of our terraced grassy emplacements look across the bay, and seawards to the ancient hilltop Fort la Latte. The site is small and beautiful and has been carefully developed to make the most of its setting. The small pool is a sun-trap; surrounded by hedges and fragrant flowers; you can relax on the sun terrace soaking up the peaceful surroundings. At the centre of the site is a picturesque small lake, a tranquil oasis for relaxing, or watching the local wildlife. The spacious bar offers excellent views across the bay and is the venue for weekly high season entertainment including family disco nights and karaoke.
