Le Vieux Port at Messanges, Gascony

On the Atlantic coast, Le Vieux Port is close to a magnificent long, sandy beach, backed by sand dunes, which shelves steeply into the lively waves. The park is located in a beautiful pine forest and has some great facilities including a great pool complex with seven pools and excellent waterslides. Out of the pool there is also a lot to do with a fun adventure playground, tennis, table tennis, and all sorts of games and sports events during the busy summer months. The park has it's own grill restaurant and during the summer there is also a weekly barbecue with an occasional disco held in high season. Delightful Bordeaux and bustling Bayonne are also both within easy reach by car and the lakeside resort of Port d'Albret is a short walk away and Messanges is 3 km away.

Near by you will find boat trips to the Channel Islands and sailing from St Malo, the chateau and lake at Combourg is 6miles away. Further afield is Mont St Michel with its beautiful abbey and museum.

The buildings are of beautiful honey-coloured stone where you'll find a shop, bar with a large terrace overlooking the pool and a restaurant serving local specialities. The modern facilities include a swimming pool complex, tropical-style indoor pool, crazy river and jacuzzi. The sports facilities are outstanding including recently built golf driving range and putting green, plus quad biking, tennis, football and gym amongst others. Six kilometres away is the busy town of Le Bugue.
Ciboure at Ciboure, Gascony

Sheltered in the calmer waters of the St Jean de Luz bay, the water sports and activities here are a degree or two more chilled out than at the larger resorts to the north. Ciboure offers all the exhilaration for those who like to take the air, or even take to the waters, in relative peace and tranquillity. On land the accent is on quiet enjoyment, Ciboure is calm compared to its busy fishing port neighbour of Saint Jean-de-Luz, but there is still plenty to keep you busy. You're not too far from the Spanish border, with the beautiful Pyrenees rising in the south.

Back on site, there is a combined indoor/outdoor pool close to the modern restaurant and bar area. You can limber up in the gymnasium or relax in the sauna at the brand new beauty centre. The Ile de Re is very flat and there are a variety of interesting cycle tracks to enjoy (bicycles can be hired on site). This idyllic island is the perfect place to slowly unwind and relax.
Les Menhirs at Carnac Plage, Brittany

The ideal choice for a family beach holiday with the bustling seaside resort of Carnac Plage within a 5 minute stroll. The park itself features an excellent swimming pool complex, with a giant waterslide and water chute, covered pool and even a little slide into the children's pool. Children can also go for pony rides just off the park, while adults can hire bikes to go around the peninsula as well as enjoying the small gym, solarium and jacuzzi and a number of games such as football, basketball and boules. This award winning park is situated on the shoreline of the Lac de Chalain and is a great place to explore the lakes and mountains of this wonderful area. Lac de Chalain has a superb family atmosphere with a good range of facilities including a superb pool complex with sunbathing area and a flower decked bar and restaurant terrace. In high season the site becomes very lively, with plenty of organised entertainment. There's also a lakeside beach where you can swim, canoe and windsurf. The area is great for walkers, with rolling countryside and cascading waterfalls just waiting to be discovered. The Jura is a wonderful region for exploring; the Herisson Waterfalls make for a spectacular day out, while the French Alps are also close by.
Le Clarys Plage at St Jean Plage, Vendee

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.
Bois de Valmarie at Argeles-sur-Mer, Languedoc

Bois de Valmarie is a popular park. Set on a hillside close to the beach of Le Racou, and a short walk from lively Argeles with many restaurants and bars. The great tropical pool complex has a stunning array of waterslides and water chutes linked by waterfalls and a childrens pool. The watermark has fantastic views of the Bay of Argeles. The restaurant and bar on this small site are the ideal location for relaxing at the end of the day. There's a shingle beach close by as well as water sports at nearby Argeles Plage. Situated between the lovely Argeles harbour and the`Cote Rocheuse', Bois de Valmarie not only enjoys breathtaking views, but is also just a five minute drive from the restaurants and shops of Argeles. Why not visit picturesque Collioure, and Perpignan, or perhaps even cross the border into Spain.

This first rate, steeply terraced park with its ochre buildings blends into the scenery so well that when you first set eyes on the glorious swimming pools, they create a quite startling contrast. The heated, jungle themed children's pool is not to be missed. Esterel really is a perfect holiday location, with an excellent restaurant and disco on the park and a night club and golf courses close by. The Esterel hills, with their wooded slopes and pink outcrops, are also truly breathtaking. It's an ideal spot for nature lovers, with many superb walks, from gentle strolls to robust hikes. For more sophisticated pleasures, you are also just a couple of miles drive through a wooded valley to Agay, with its pavement cafes and sandy beach.
