The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

L'Atlantique's centrepiece is undoubtedly the swimming pool complex, which has a new covered pool, jacuzzi and health and beauty centre in addition to large waterslides and spectacular pools. You will also be equally impressed by the authentic fishing boat in the play area and the ocean-themed mini golf. In peak season, the owners organise competitions, sports, evening entertainment and discos and they have also created some pitches bordered by hedges, as well as clean, modern toilet blocks. With a lovely beach right on its doorstep, l'Atlantique enjoys an idyllic setting too, ideal for families with children. The walk to the beach even takes you across a stream and through a nature reserve with all kinds of wildlife and you will also find plenty of places to dine nearby.

Camping le Bois de Valmarie is a relaxed campsite, unwind here with a refreshing drink from the snack bar, while the children have hours of fun whizzing down the water chutes in the three lagoon style pools linked by waterfalls. The terraced emplacements rise up the hillside towards the pool, from where there are outstanding views over the bay of Argeles. At the bottom of the site, surrounded by colourful flower beds, you will find the superb restaurant. Le Ranolien is really quite stunning. Colourful hedges and trees blend into the pink granite boulders of the coastline, which allows for some highly individual pitches, as well as easy access to nearby beaches. The owners are continually investing in park facilities, including a mini-cinema and there is a magnificent pool complex which features an impressive array of outdoor pools and water-slides, including a covered, heated pool that's available throughout the season. There is a state of the art spa on site providing a wide range of treatments ready when you need a little extra pampering and relaxing. Away from the site there is an excellent choice of beaches ranging from rocky inlets to sandy coves. Some traffic noise can be heard from certain parts of the park.
