Hippocampe at Argeles-sur-Mer, Languedoc
If you are looking for a fun packed holiday then Camping Hippocampe has all the right ingredients. At Argeles-sur-Mer, which is just a mile away, you have a long sandy beach. The park has a superb heated swimming pool with waterchute and waterslides, you also have access to the wide range of sports facilities, children's clubs and evening entertainment at La Sirene, its larger sister site across the road.
Holiday Green at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
Holiday Green is a well maintained site with a large Californian pool complex which is great fun for all the family and includes a children's pool with water games. It also has a new covered heated pool, toboggans, solarium and Jacuzzi. To keep the kids happy, a whole range of activities are held throughout the season and there are aqua aerobics, water polo and water volleyball tournament and in July and August swimming lessons, fun water-skiing and even deep-sea diving instruction. The park has a restaurant, bar, supermarket, fitness room, tennis court, boules pitch, archery and mountain biking. There is also free evening entertainment and themed restaurant nights. Due to the undulating nature of the terrain on this park and the placement of some of the pitches on quite steep terraces, this park is not ideal for elderly customers or those with mobility problems.
Club Farret at Vias Plage, Languedoc
This family run park offers everything you could need for a sun and sand holiday with plenty to do for the whole family. The lagoon style pool complex, surrounded by palms and shrubs, is a real sun trap and even better a newly planned spa and extended pool. The park also offers no less than seven playgrounds, while adults can enjoy sports that range from table tennis to archery. Le Farret benefits from direct access to a wonderful sandy Mediterranean beach and the site's excellent restaurant and pirate themed bar facilities have more than enough to entertain you for the duration of your stay, however if you can tear yourself away from the park, a short 500m walk will take you directly into Vias Plage with its lively bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
L'Ardechois at Vallon Pont D'Arc, Ardeche
L'Ardechois is a superbly well equipped park situated alongside one of the loveliest stretches of the Ardeche River. This makes it a perfect spot for swimming and canoeing, not to mention the excursions through the magnificent gorges that are such a popular part of the park's activities. Within the park itself, the impressive range of facilities include an attractive pool complex and a poolside bar. To keep the whole family amused, the park entertainment organise sports and fun from mid June, including weekly discos which are held in the open air or the bar. You are also just a short walk from Vallon Pont d'Arc, which is something of a focal point for tourists in this fascinating region.
La Baume at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
This park is defiantly for you if you enjoy activities as there is so much to do there will be little time for sitting and relaxing. There are however 2 bars and a restaurant as well as plenty of space to sit around the pool if you want a break from all the excitement. The children have a play area; club with organised activities and even their own disco. Park run sports tournaments; basketball; badminton; climbing wall and archery will give the older children something to think about and a 16+ disco just for good measure. There are family discos during July and August. Sightseeing has not been left from the list of things connected with this busy park with Cannes only 16 miles; St Tropez 22 miles and Nice 40 miles.
Les Restanques at Grimaud, Riviera
Set in 25 acres of enclosed parkland, with mimosa trees and pine woods adding to your privacy. Les Restanques has wonderful panoramic views over the sea and the town of St Tropez. Just 3km from the Mediterranean beaches, this village is the ideal base to explore the innumerable charms of this part of the south of France. The park boasts an exceptional pool complex with waterslide and wave pool surrounded by grassy slopes and a manmade beach. The accommodation is of the highest standard and an unrivalled choice of activities for all the family is on offer. With St Tropez just a drive away, and walks to the Venetian-styled fishing village of Port Grimaud, it's hard to fault Les Restanques.

There are also plenty of lovely beaches nearby and come the evening you can choose between live entertainment or dancing the night away in the park's own disco. Please note that road noise can sometimes be heard on site.
Ville Franche at Villefranche, Riviera
A beautiful, pastel-painted town at the head of the French Riveria, Villefranche is a small town of only 8,000 inhabitants but, within its limits you'll discover a walled citadel, Gothic churches, and ancient harbour, all a delight. For a change of pace, the glamour and pulse of Monte Carlo is just a short drive away. Drive inland over rolling hills to St. Paul de Vence, a walled hill fort which dates back to the middle ages. Back in Villefranche, take your pick from a string of harbourside restaurants, offering decidedly Italian-influenced meals, each more inviting than the next.

If relaxation is in order, the new heated outdoor pools have plenty of loungers or why not indulge in a massage in the new wellness centre which also features a fitness room. Please be aware that due to the landscape, a lot of pitches are located on steep terraces.
Les Sablons at Portiragnes Plage, Languedoc
Les Sablons is a pleasant, good quality park with an excellent range of facilities that include a friendly bar and restaurant, as well as a pool complex with swimming and children's pools, and great waterslides. Most amenities are open in early season, but the park only becomes really lively during high season, when discos are held both indoors and out in the warm night air. Yet it's the splendid beach that you're sure to love most. With direct access from the park, its huge expanse of gently-shelving sand is a splendid place to relax. But if you can bear to tear yourselves away, you will find delightful resorts such as Cap d'Agde and Valras-Plage, which are both within easy reach.
Green Park at Cagnes-Green, Riviera
Green Park is situatied in the heart of a valley, surrounded by hills but is just few minutes from this popular French coastline. At the bottom of the site, surrounded by colourful flower beds, you will find the superb restaurant. Lying on the banks of the river Verdon, this excellent Castels park offers you both first class facilities and unsurpassed opportunities for an active, adventurous holiday. Gassin at Gassin, Riviera

Les Marines de Gassin lies 6 km from Gassin with its narrow winding streets and preserved Provencal character. The resort is located in a private park with direct access to a sandy beach.

Access has never been easier due to the new Millau Viaduct.
