The bar and terrace at Camping de l'Atlantique overlook the pools allowing you to keep an eye on the youngsters as they whiz down the slides. The facilities on site are superb and include a landscaped pool complex, which offers five waterslides with their own splash pool, a children's pool and a swimming pool, a new jacuzzi pool opened in 2010. Overlooking the complex is the bright and attractive bar area, housed in a white washed, terracotta tiled building typical of the Vendee. Relax here with a refreshing drink, whilst the children splash around in the water. In high season families can enjoy a good programme of lively entertainment including discos, bingo and karaoke. Located at the entrance to Camping le Clarys Plage are the feature waterslides and jacuzzi, fountains and bridges, as well as a separate covered pool and a paddling pool for the children. The bar terrace overlooks the pool area, providing an excellent spot to relax with a cool drink, and is the venue for the evening entertainment that takes place regularly throughout the season. There is a pizzeria on site, but no shop or restaurant, however there is a supermarket and a choice of bars and restaurants just a short walk away.

The park is close to the lively resorts of St Hilaire and St Jean de Monts.

There are several shops not too far from the park, including a well-stocked supermarket, which is open from June onwards.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

The park owners are very proud of their park and are keen for park regulations to be respected. Just a little way from the coast road, La Yole also offers you a beautiful beach nearby and two super resorts just down the road. Out and about, you'll find chic St. Jean de Monts just up the coast which offers a nice change of pace. There's a lovely air of relaxation about this part of the Vendee too, with its myriad of cosy cafes and seaside stalls selling local wine and produce. And should you just want to explore, you'll find that the whole area is covered with fragrant pine forests.

Within 1/2 a mile of a sandy beach Cote de Nacre is a site with plenty to do including a tropical pool complex with swimming pool, water slides and chutes. Enjoying a peaceful location in the grounds of a lovely old manor house, the park has been developed by the friendly owners to a very high standard, with excellent facilities, especially for young families. The superb pool complex has two pools, one with a lazy river, toboggans and a retractable roof over one of the pools. There is an indoor Spa and Jacuzzi with a Hammam (Turkish bath) and massage available. The park is extremely pretty, in a lovely setting close to a small village and is also perfectly placed for sightseeing. The Loire River is just a short distance away, with opportunities for canoeing and fishing. Most importantly, the Loire is most famous for its many chateaux, two of which, Chambord and Blois, are close to hand.
