Within 1/2 a mile of a sandy beach Cote de Nacre is a site with plenty to do including a tropical pool complex with swimming pool, water slides and chutes. There is a covered pool which is heated and a childrens splash pool. For those looking to relax there is a sauna and Hammam, There is a playground for smaller children and organised activities for children aged 7-10 years from mid July to August. For older children there is table tennis and table football as well as outdoor fun including a synthetic outdoor ice rink, multi sport pitch for football, basketball, volleyball and tennis. There is a bar, restaurant, takeaway on site. There is evening entertainment from mid July to August including weekly disco, live music, quizzes and karaoke.
Cap Marine at Le Guilvinec, Brittany

Domaine de Ker-Ys is just 20 metres from Pentrez beach and close to the small holiday resort of Saint-Nic. Located in the Vendee, a region famous for its long sandy beaches, close to Les Sables d'Olonne, Residence L'Estran is a hotel and residence located between the Puits d'Enfer, a deep cleft in the cliff into which the sea comes crashing at high tide, and the town centre. The Camping Sol-a -Gogo is a well kept park with direct access to a superb beach. Just a short stroll from the resort of Les Mouettes, the park has a fantastic swimming pool complex with water chutes, waterslides and a covered pool. In high summer the park entertainers organise a range of family activities including regular discos in the bar. Some noise may be heard from the local road. The park is close to the lively resorts of St Hilaire and St Jean de Monts.
La Garangeoire at St Julien des Landes, Vendee
Part of the prestigious Castels chain of parks, La Garangeoire is a splendid site. Although just a 15 minute drive from the Vendee beaches, the park is set in breathtakingly beautiful woods, meadows and lakes. With many generous and largely un-shaded pitches, you are able to explore many of the delightful well marked walks. There is no shortage of things to do with tennis, fishing and boating on the lake. The modern restaurant and bar overlooking the superb pool and the cosy pub style bar offer a pleasant evening.
Les Chateau des Marais at Chambord, Loire Valley
Enjoying a peaceful location in the grounds of a lovely old manor house, the park has been developed by the friendly owners to a very high standard, with excellent facilities, especially for young families. The superb pool complex has two pools, one with a lazy river, toboggans and a retractable roof over one of the pools. There is an indoor Spa and Jacuzzi with a Hammam (Turkish bath) and massage available. The park is extremely pretty, in a lovely setting close to a small village and is also perfectly placed for sightseeing. The Loire River is just a short distance away, with opportunities for canoeing and fishing. Most importantly, the Loire is most famous for its many chateaux, two of which, Chambord and Blois, are close to hand.
Chateau des Ormes at Dol-de-Bretagne, Brittany
Chateau des Ormes is for you if you like water with a fantastic outdoor wave pool; two outdoor swimming pools; a tropical outdoor pool with waterslides; an indoor pool complex with water slides, lazy river and jacuzzi baths as well as a children's splash pool. Should the children bore of the water there is a children's club run by Al Fresco for 4-12 year olds. There are so many outdoor activities available you will have to work hard to find time to relax. Near by you will find boat trips to the Channel Islands and sailing from St Malo, the chateau and lake at Combourg is 6miles away. Camping de I' Atlantique at Fouesnant, Brittany
The bar and terrace at Camping de l'Atlantique overlook the pools allowing you to keep an eye on the youngsters as they whiz down the slides. The picturesque old port of Roscoff is near by and offers boat trips to the island of Batz.
