Enjoying a peaceful location in the grounds of a lovely old manor house, the park has been developed by the friendly owners to a very high standard, with excellent facilities, especially for young families. The superb pool complex has two pools, one with a lazy river, toboggans and a retractable roof over one of the pools. There is an indoor Spa and Jacuzzi with a Hammam (Turkish bath) and massage available. The park is extremely pretty, in a lovely setting close to a small village and is also perfectly placed for sightseeing. The Loire River is just a short distance away, with opportunities for canoeing and fishing. Most importantly, the Loire is most famous for its many chateaux, two of which, Chambord and Blois, are close to hand.

Although lively in high season the site is much quieter in May and June making it ideal for young families. A path leads you through cool pine trees and over dunes to a fine sandy beach.

There are some well maintained facilities, which include a remodelled covered swimming complex with slides and a water chute. There is also a sandy beach close to the village of St Pair-sur Mer which is just over 2 miles away. There is also fishing on the little lake, free of charge. On the one hand it's a great place to simply relax while you soak up the atmosphere and enjoy its beautiful setting in the grounds of the manor house. At the same time, it's ideally placed for stopovers. But whatever you come for, you'll find it an absolute delight. There are excellent facilities here, which include a beautifully landscaped and recently remodelled, covered water park that's complete with slides and water chutes, great fun for all ages. Don't forget your fishing rod either, as you're welcome to try your luck on the little lake, free of charge. Ideal for young families, the friendly owners work extremely hard to make your stay here enjoyable.

Le Ranolien is really quite stunning. Colourful hedges and trees blend into the pink granite boulders of the coastline, which allows for some highly individual pitches, as well as easy access to nearby beaches. The owners are continually investing in park facilities, including a mini-cinema and there is a magnificent pool complex which features an impressive array of outdoor pools and water-slides, including a covered, heated pool that's available throughout the season. There is a state of the art spa on site providing a wide range of treatments ready when you need a little extra pampering and relaxing. Away from the site there is an excellent choice of beaches ranging from rocky inlets to sandy coves. Some traffic noise can be heard from certain parts of the park.

Chateau des Ormes is for you if you like water with a fantastic outdoor wave pool; two outdoor swimming pools; a tropical outdoor pool with waterslides; an indoor pool complex with water slides, lazy river and jacuzzi baths as well as a children's splash pool. Should the children bore of the water there is a children's club run by Al Fresco for 4-12 year olds. There are so many outdoor activities available you will have to work hard to find time to relax. Near by you will find boat trips to the Channel Islands and sailing from St Malo, the chateau and lake at Combourg is 6miles away. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.
