Most amenities are open in early season, but the park only becomes really lively during high season, when discos are held both indoors and out in the warm night air. Yet it's the splendid beach that you're sure to love most. With direct access from the park, its huge expanse of gently-shelving sand is a splendid place to relax. But if you can bear to tear yourselves away, you will find delightful resorts such as Cap d'Agde and Valras-Plage, which are both within easy reach.

Les Sablons at Portiragnes Plage

Families are more than catered for at Les Sablons, there is something for everyone. The amazing swimming pool complex has 2 outdoor pools; waterslides galore; children's splash pool and a jacuzzi. If all that fails to impress there is a site run children's club for 5-10 years during July and August. If you prefer to leave the park the sandy beach is only 200 metres with pedalos and water sports available. Shops and cafes in Portiragnes Plage are a short walk from the park.
