There are several shops not too far from the park, including a well-stocked supermarket, which is open from June onwards.

A well-kept park, L'Oceano is well situated in unspoilt countryside. There is plenty of family entertainment and live music in high season in the parks special amphitheatre. The owners have kept to the traditional Vendeen style with the park buildings have been built in traditional style. The spacious bar has a relaxed atmosphere. Le Littoral is just a mile from the nearest beach with gently sloping sands. The park has a popular outdoor and covered pool. The park bar is the centre for daily entertainment in high season. The site is a short path walk from a rocky cove where children are able to spend hours searching for shell fish. There is also an excellent children's play area, which along with the many activities makes this a popular family resort. Off site there are plenty of things to keep you occupied with bike hire around the corner; Atlantic Toboggan water park a short drive away to the picturesque town of St Giles Croix De Vie; the wonderful promenade at St Jean de Monts with a fantastic long beach, cafes, bars and shops all within a short drive. A little further away you will find the zoo at Sables which is worth a visit.

And then, of course, there's the wonderful beach which is reached by a private path from the park. There are also many fine day trips to choose from, with lively resorts such as St Hilaire and St Jean de Monts both just a few kilometres away.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.
