There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

Camping le Ruisseau is a well equipped, top quality family run site. Situated in the Basque country and close to the sea, the majestic peaks of the Pyrenees rise in the distance. The pitches here are set in shady oak land and the site boasts its own lake, which is ideal for a quiet spot of carp fishing. The fantastic pool complex incorporates waterslides, a jacuzzi, sauna and an expansive sun terrace. Sports opportunities are plentiful take to the tennis courts or the gymnasium, while young children will love the excellent play area and trampolines. In the evenings, entertainment is laid on during the height of the summer in the popular lively bar and on the terrace. The site lies close to a motorway but traffic noise is minimal.

Due to the undulating nature of the terrain on this park and the placement of some of the pitches on quite steep terraces, this park is not ideal for elderly customers or those with mobility problems.

There are many reasons to stray from the park too. The famous beaches, body boarding, surfing, shopping and restaurants of wonderful Biarritz are just 8km away; with Bidart and Bayonne right on your doorstep, and Spain and the Pyrenees also within easy reach.
